The PeaceBuskers Project: Behind the Vision
Aug 2, 2025
What's PeaceBuskers?
PeaceBuskers is a groundbreaking initiative powered by YOUALITY and led by singer, poet, and director Kamran Rasoolzadeh. This project brings the spirit of peace, music, and spontaneous human connection to the streets of Europe.
Set to tour six major cities—Paris, Brussels, Cologne, Berlin, Vienna, and Prague—PeaceBuskers combines live street performances, cross-cultural musical collaborations, and artistic dialogue in public space.
The tour will be carried out using a custom-designed caravan that serves as both artistic base and mobile stage. Each stop will feature collaborations with local musicians, creating site-specific, improvised musical experiences aimed at uniting voices beyond borders.
With its message of hope, unity, and artistic freedom, PeaceBuskers positions street art as a political and poetic act.
🎥 The journey will also be documented in a visual series capturing each city's soundscape and spontaneous moments.
Community Impact & Cultural Exchange
PeaceBuskers is not just a performance—it is an encounter. At each stop, the project engages with local communities, youth groups, and cultural organizations, sparking conversations around peace, migration, and the transformative role of music in public life.
Through street dialogues, open jam sessions, and inclusive performances, the project reclaims public space as a shared cultural platform, where strangers become collaborators and art becomes a tool for healing.
Workshops and impromptu collaborations with city-based musicians not only enrich the performances but leave behind a lasting trace of connection between cities, artists, and citizens.
A Message That Travels Further
Beyond the live events, PeaceBuskers is designed to resonate globally. A dedicated media team will accompany the journey, producing short documentary episodes, photo essays, and musical vignettes from each city.
These digital outputs will be shared through YOUALITY’s platforms, amplifying the voices encountered on the road and connecting diverse audiences across borders.
From its wheels to the web, PeaceBuskers carries a clear message:
Peace is not a destination—it is a song we write together.
